One Entrapped During Rollover Crash In Western Mass

Police in Western Massachusetts are investigating a rollover crash on a residential street that trapped one occupant.

The single-vehicle crash took place around 12:15 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, in the area of 59 Edendale St., according to the Springfield Fire Department.

One person was entrapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters.

The driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center and is expected to recover.

Speed may have been a factor in the crash, officials said.
