Massachusetts' School Systems Reign Supreme According To WalletHub Study
It appears that school systems in Massachusetts have passed why flying colors! The Commonwealth score the top spot on WalletHub's list of 2022's States with the Best & Worst School Systems. The list is generated by analyzing each state's academic performance, funding, safety, class size and instructor credentials, the study reads. All New England states appeared in the top 20 as well: Connecticut at number two, New Hampshire at seven, Vermont at 11, Maine at 12 and Rhode Island at 16. You read the full list here.

911 Caller Makes Fake Shooting Threat Against Greater Boston Area School: Police
The Salem Police Department is trying to track down an anonymous 911 caller who made several threats of violence against a local school. The caller made several false reports of shots fired, profanity and hang-ups to police against Collins Middle School on the morning of June 10, police said on Facebook. The caller also said he was going to stage a shooting at the school, according to police. The department later determined the threats as not credible but have increased their presence at the school out of precaution. The investigation is ongoing.

Student Allegedly Makes Violent Threats Against Massachusetts School: Police
Authorities are investigating after a juvenile male was allegedly heard making threats of violence to fellow students at a Norfolk Public School. Police were called to the Freeman-Kennedy school after staff members overheard the male make violent threats against the school around 4 p.m on Monday, June 6, Norfolk Police report. The male was later identified and officers made contact with him and his parents.
