A pair of cops who were responding to a report of domestic violence were punched in the head and sent to the hospital by a man who attempted to take the officers' guns from them, officials say. Newton police responded to a report of domestic violence and were met with an "out of control" suspect on Saturday, March 4 around 9:55 p.m., the Newton Police Department said. Anger Growing Over Officer-Involved Shooting Of Cambridge Student
Dozens of people gathered on Monday, Jan. 9, to protest the officer-involved killing of UMass student Sayad Faisal last week and grieve the loss of a community member that they said had big dreams and was working to make them a reality.
