Unlicensed DUI Driver Arrested In I-84 Crash That Left Passenger Dead: State Police An unlicensed, intoxicated Hartford man has been charged in connection with a high-speed crash on Interstate 84 that killed his passenger, according to Connecticut State Police. The crash occurred around 6:53 a.m. on Feb. 8, 2024, near Exit 61 in Manchester, investigators said. Jason Ivers, 25, was driving a 2016 Nissan Juke westbound at a high rate of speed when his vehicle collided with a 2015 Hyundai Genesis, CT State Police said. Duo Busted In Darien For Road Racing After Crashing, Police Say Two Fairfield County men were busted for alleged road racing after two crashes. The incident occurred in Darien on Friday, May 17, on Post Road. According to Lt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police,  officers responded to the area of Post Rd near Hillside Ave for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles that were witnessed racing each other.
