After Dumping Dead Dog's Body, Haddam Trainer Sent Phony Photos To Owners: Police
A Connecticut woman is facing multiple charges after police found several sick dogs she had been paid to train stuck in crates with little food or water, which led to one of their deaths, authorities said.
Middlesex County resident Josephine Ragland, age 28, of Haddam, who is charged with four counts of animal abuse, turned herself in to police on Monday, Sept. 16, Connecticut State Police said. Her mother, Jacqueline Witt, was arrested last week in the case.
