A beloved and reknowned pizzeria with locations across Connecticut announced its new, cheesy fall specialty pizza.
Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, founded in New Haven in 1925, announced the Quattro Formaggio was added to its menus on Monday, Sept. 23, and would remain available through the end of the year.
The "highly anticipated" pizza was crafted by family members of Frank Pepe and features a blend of crushed Italian tomatoes and four cheeses, including mozzarella, asiago, ricotta, and Pecorino romano, according to the owners behind the iconic restaurant franchise.

Murder-Suicide: Man Forces Way Into Ansonia Home To Shoot Ex-Wife, Kill Himself, Police Say
Police believe that a 47-year-old Connecticut man forced his way into a New Haven County home on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, and fatally shot his ex-wife before he turned the gun on himself.
New Haven resident Miguelina Lebron, age 45, of Ansonia, was found shot repeatedly at her home on Westfield Avenue, Ansonia police said. Nearby lay the body of her ex-husband Yanis Tavarez, of Bridgeport, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police were called to the home around 5 a.m. after receiving a 911 call. When they arrived they found the bodies.

A 49-year-old Maryland man was found guilty of gunning down a Connecticut father of three in 2020, authorities said.
Rashad Hardy was found guilty on Aug. 28 of murder, carrying a pistol with a permit, and criminal possession of a firearm, the Connecticut State Attorney's Office said.
Hardy was convicted of killing Ricky Newton, age 36, of New Haven, on Rosette Street in July 2020, police said.
Police found evidence of the slaying while executing a search on an unrelated matter at a group home in Maryland, where Hardy was living at the time, officials continued.…
Suicidal CT Man Who Wanted Police To 'Kill Him,' Injures Officers During Arrest, Cops Say
A Connecticut man who was allegedly suicidal and wanted to be killed by police was taken into custody after fighting and injuring several officers.
The incident occurred in New Haven County in Hamden on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the Hamden Plaza.
According to Lt. Raymond Quinn of the Hamden Police, the department received word that the East Haven Police were trying to locate and arrest Derrick Gilliam, age 29, of New Haven.
East Haven police said that Gilliam, who was wanted on domestic violence charges, was suicidal and "wanted to be killed by police," Quinn said.
