Connecticut Lottery announced the latest residents who claimed major prizes.
An unnamed New Haven County resident, from Naugatuck, claimed a $1,000,000 prize from a "Win up to $5,000 a month for life second edition" ticket purchased at Stop One Mart LLC, the lottery reported on Monday, Aug. 8.
CT Lottery said the store is at the Mobil gas station, located at 282 South Main St. in Naugatuck.
The lottery also announced that Fairfield County resident Gloria Rubis, of Monroe, claimed a $100,000 CASH5 prize from a ticket purchased at Big Y World Class Market, located at 83 Stony Hill Road …

A Connecticut woman expressed her surprise when she realized she had won a $20,000 lottery prize from a $2 scratch ticket.
Hartford County resident Madelyn Cruz, of Manchester, won her prize from Connecticut Lottery's "$20,000 50th Anniversary" game last month, CT Lottery announced.
Cruz told CT Lottery she couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the "MONEYBAG" symbol.
“I didn’t have my glasses on when I started playing the ticket, so as I started to scratch, I thought, ‘oh, that’s too many zeroes,'" she said. "I put on my glasses and saw I had won $20,000!”

Fairfield County resident Louis Pulitano, of Stratford, won a $50,000 prize from a Money Match Multiplier ticket purchased at Krauszer's Food Store, located at 911 Campbell Ave. in West Haven, Connecticut Lottery announced.
CT Lottery then announced that Zachary Renaldi, a resident of Oakdale in New London County, claimed a $50,020 prize from a KENO ticket purchased at Renaldi's One Stop Package, located at 1590 Route 85 in Oakdale.

A Fairfield County man has claimed a $300,000 lottery prize.
Ronald Battaglia, of Stratford, won the prize from Connecticut Lottery's $1,000,000 Golden Riches game, CT Lottery announced on Thursday, July 7.
The winning ticket was purchased at Greenwich Cigar & Stationary, which is located at 91 Railroad Ave. in Greenwich, the lottery said.
CT Lottery also announced that an unnamed Trumbull resident claimed a $100,000 CASH5 prize from a ticket purchased at City Gas, located at 289 Huntington Turnpike in Bridgeport.
