ID Released For 29-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Shelton A 29-year-old Connecticut man who was killed after being hit by a vehicle has been identified. Man Hit By Vehicle Dies In Shelton Crash New Haven resident Erick Irizarry of Waterbury, died around 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9 on School Street in the area of Monroe Street in Fairfield County in Shelton. According to Shelton Police Det. Christopher Nugent, Irizarry was found unresponsive by EMS and pronounced dead on the scene.
