Hiker Finds Missing Man Dead In His Truck A 64-year-old Connecticut man who went missing earlier this week was found dead on Wednesday, Sept. 25.  Ronald Lavoie left his Hartford County home in East Windsor around 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, but did not return, his family told police.  A hiker called police on Wednesday morning to report they found a man dead and slumped over in a truck. Police responded to the area around 12:30 p.m. to find Lavoie in his Chevrolet Silverado. Police do not suspect foul play, but the death remains under investigation.  Police did not say exactly where they found Lavoie's body or how …

Police Investigating 2 Suspicious Deaths In Ansonia Police in New Haven County say they found two dead bodies on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, and are searching for what killed them, authorities said.  Police in Ansonia were called to the 100 block of Westfield Ave., where the bodies were located. Officers do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.  Investigators have closed off a portion of Westfield Avenue from Jackson Street to Burton Street until they clear the crime scene.  This is a developing story. Man Nabbed In Connection With Death Of Woman Found On Redding Roadway A 50-year-old man faces charges in connection with the death of a 26-year-old woman whose body was found in a wooded area of a roadway in Connecticut, police announced.  Fairfield County resident Sergio Reyes-Cordero of Norwalk was extradited from Georgia to Connecticut on Thursday, Aug. 1, and charged in connection with the death of 26-year-old Bridgeport resident Leah Chapparo, Connecticut State Police announced on Friday, Aug. 2.  Chapparo's body was found on Sunday, Feb. 18 on Glen Road (Route 53) in the Fairfield County town of Redding, according to police.  …

NY Man ID'd As Tourist Found Dead In Greece An American tourist recently found dead in Greece has been identified as a Long Island horse trainer. Toby Sheets’ body was found on Sunday, June 16, on a rocky beach on the Greek island of Mathraki, according to CBS News New York. Sheets, 55, was a native of Arkansas and lived in the Nassau County village of Floral Park, where he worked as a horse trainer at Belmont Park.
