Live Powerline Falls On School Bus With Dozen Kids, Driver Trapped Inside: Report More than a dozen students were trapped beneath a fallen powerline in Haddam on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 11, NBC Connecticut reported.  Haddam firefighters were at the Maple Avenue scene and were working to get the children and driver out safely, the station reported. Threat Leads To Increased Police Presence At New Haven County Middle School Police will have a more significant police presence at a Connecticut middle school after they were made aware of a Snapchat post making threats against its students. The incident occurred in New Haven County on Sunday, Sept. 8, in Meriden at Thomas Edison Middle School. According to Meriden Police Sgt.
