24-Year-Old Dies After Hit-Run Bridgeport Crash A 24-year-old man was killed when he was struck in Fairfield County by a hit-and-run driver, police said. The victim was struck around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, near the intersection of Waterview Avenue and Crescent Avenue. Capt. Lonnie Blackwell of the Bridgeport Police said Enamorado was riding a motorized bicycle when he was struck near the intersection by a vehicle that fled the area. ID Released For Fairfield County Man Killed After SUV Plunges Into Harbor On Christmas Eve Police have released the identity of a 33-year-old Fairfield County man whose vehicle plunged into an icy harbor on Christmas Eve. Bridgeport resident Jamal Gordon died during the early morning hours on Saturday, Dec. 24 after his BMW SUV left the roadway and landed in Bridgeport Harbor, said Capt. Brian Fitzgerald of the Bridgeport Police. The incident began around 2:50 a.m. when the department received a call of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Waterview Avenue, Fitzgerald said.
