Dave’s Hot Chicken opened its restaurant in Milford on Friday, Jan. 24. The location at 1611 Boston Post Road is the first Connecticut restaurant for the Los Angeles-area chain. The company has about 3.1 million followers on TikTok and 1.5 million on Instagram. High School Athlete In Fairfield County Dies At Age 17 The community is mourning the death of a 17-year-old Fairfield County student-athlete who is being remembered by friends and family as being an avid lover of the outdoors. Darien resident Matthew Barket McEvoy died on Thursday, March 31. A Darien High School student, McEvoy played on the varsity lacrosse team, and enjoyed mountain biking, skiing, and had an interest in cars - both old and new. McEvoy spent his summers playing tennis, sailing and swimming at the Tokeneke Club, according to his family.
