22-Year-Old Killed, 32-Year-Old Man In Critical Condition Following Waterbury Crash

A 22-year-old Connecticut man was killed and another was hospitalized after a late-night crash in New Haven County, authorities said.

Jayden Gonzalez, of Waterbury, was killed after his car collided with another at the intersection of Baldwin and Lounsbury Streets around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, authorities said. 

Paramedics rushed them both to an area hospital, where Gonzalez died of his wounds. The 32-year-old unnamed Waterbury man, who was in the other car, remains in critical but stable condition, police said. 

No one else was injured, but two unoccupied parked cars were damaged, police said. 

Waterbury Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
