Fatal Crash: Man Killed In Hit-Run, Police Search For Driver Police are investigating following a hit-and-run crash that killed a Connecticut man. The collision occurred in New Haven around 1:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 28 at the intersection of Ella Grasso Boulevard and Washington Avenue. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, the man was walking on Ella Grasso Boulevard when he was struck by a dark-colored vehicle. The vehicle sped away from the crash site. Fatal Crash: 42-Year-Old CT Man ID'd As Victim, 5 Others Seriously Injured One person was killed and five others injured during a three-vehicle crash in Connecticut. The crash took place in New Haven County around 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 24 at the intersection of Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Washington Avenue in New Haven. Capt. Rose Dell of the New Haven Police said the collision involved three older-styled, gray-colored Honda Accords.  A preliminary investigation indicates that it was a T-bone-style collision, with the third vehicle being struck after the initial impact, Dell said.
