Luis Martinez, 32, of Waterbury, is charged with reckless driving, second-degree manslaughter — motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license, and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, Waterbury police said.

A 55-year-old Connecticut woman accused of crashing into a state Department of Transportation worker while intoxicated now faces more charges linked to the fatal crash this summer, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 16.
