ID Released For CT Woman Pulled From Housatonic River
A Connecticut woman who fell off a paddleboard in the Housatonic River and never resurfaced has been identified. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 6:15 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, in Seymour, according to Will Healey of the state Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. A 94-year-old Connecticut woman drowned while swimming at a state park beach. The incident occurred in New Haven County at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison on Thursday, June 20. According to Will Healey of the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, EnCon Police, along with the Madison police and fire departments, off-duty lifeguards, and EnCon Rangers, responded to a report of a swimmer who submerged and did not resurface at Hammonasset Beach State Park. Officials Identify Body Of Missing Man Found In Candlewood Lake
Officials have identified a 24-year-old man whose body was found in Candlewood Lake after a weeks-long search for him. Hartford County resident Larry Kwokpo Chan, of Bristol, was identified as the man whose body was recovered from the lake on Thursday, June 16, according to an announcement from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on Tuesday, June 21. CT Man Found Dead Near Overturned Canoe, Police Say
A Connecticut man who was reported missing has been found dead near an overturned canoe in a lake. The man was found early Tuesday, June 8, in Winchester Lake in Litchfield County, said Will Healey with the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of his family, was reported missing on Monday, June 7, Healey said.
