The testing site at the Arroyo Recreation Center, 30 Pope Park Dr., was slated to stop services next Friday, July 31.
Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin announced the news July 23 during a press conference with members from CVS Health, the Connecticut chapter of the NAACP, Hartford’s health director and fire chief, according to NBC Connecticut. The NAACP was present to highlight the importance of black people - a community that has been hit particularly hard by the coronavirus - get tested if they don’t feel well.
