Super commuters are people who travel 90 minutes or more each workday to and from their place of employment.
Connecticut ranked 8th on the list devised by FW Business. About 3.335 percent of Connecticut's commuters spend an hour and a half or more commuting to and from work. This is mostly due to people driving from Connecticut into New York City to work.
Massachusetts ranked 7th - with 3.336 percent of commuters with long daily treks. Most of the super commuters are coming from Western Massachusetts into the Boston area to work.
The top 10 states with the most super commuters are mostly on the East Coast and a couple more - in addition to Connecticut and Massachusetts - are in New England.
