Teen Wanted in CT Parking Lot Slaying Remains On The Run Police in Connecticut are searching for a 17-year-old girl now wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that ended in a parking lot outside of a popular restaurant in New Haven County earlier this year.  Desire Aitken is wanted for multiple serious offenses, including assault in the first degree, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal attempt at murder, Waterbury Police said. Wanted Man Lured Child Into His Truck Outside Of Park, Sexually Assaulted Her: Police Police say a Connecticut man kidnapped a child younger than 13 from a New Haven playground and sexually assaulted her in his truck.  Michael Dewitt, age 45, of Seymour, faces multiple felonies from the alleged incident and is being held on a $1.25 million bond, Waterbury Police said.  The girl told police that she was playing at Fulton Park on Wednesday, Oct. 9, around 7 p.m. when a man, later identified as Dewitt, lured her into his truck, where he sexually assaulted her, authorities said. 4 Shot Outside CT Apartments During Dispute, 1 Critical Four men were found shot outside a Connecticut apartment building following a dispute between the group. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7 p.m. on Wednesday at 50 Mitchell Ave., in Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, the four were found shot by responding officers on a report of shots fired. Two of the victims, ages 19 and 25, were treated at the hospital and released. School Bus Crashes With Vehicle On CT Roadway One person received minor injuries during a crash between a vehicle and a school bus in Connecticut. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, at 38 Indian Trail in Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette with the Waterbury Police, the school bus had 14 students at the time, and no injuries were reported by the bus operator or any of the students.  Bessette said the operator of the other involved vehicle was transported to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.  The incident remains under investigation.
