Autistic 4-Year-Old Central Mass Girl Drowns In Neighbor's Pool
A 4-year-old autistic girl named Eva was found unresponsive in her neighbor's pool in Worcester County on Thursday, July 11, after she went missing from her home. She was pronounced dead at an area hospital a short time later. Police in Sutton received a 911 call around 3:50 p.m. that the girl had gone missing in the Peachtree Drive area, the Worcester County District Attorney said. Police in Worcester County found a man in possession of crack and a rocket launcher sitting in a parked car at a Sutton motel on Monday, Feb. 19, authorities said. A Massachusetts man who performed as a children's magician for two decades across New England admitted to having child sexual abuse material and traveling to another country to rape a child, federal authorities said. Massachusetts Man Convicted Of Conspiracy To Distribute Cocaine
A 47-year-old Massachusetts man was convicted by a federal jury of conspiring to distribute cocaine. Worcester County resident Bruce Marando, of Sutton, was convicted following a four-day trial, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced on Friday, Aug. 20. The DA's Office said evidence at the trial showed that from March to May 2017, Marando conspired with Vito Nuzzolilo and other people to distribute cocaine.
