Body-Cam Video Shows Suspect Fired First In New Haven Officer-Involved Fatal Shooting: Report The Connecticut Office of Inspector General released its preliminary findings in a fatal officer-involved shooting last week and found that the suspect fired at police first.  Jebrell Conley, 36, was shot and killed on Thursday, Sept. 19, at a West Haven car wash on Boston Road.  The New Haven Police Department's Violent Crime Task Force went to arrest Conley around 5 p.m. on an outstanding robbery warrant. Police-Involved Shooting: Bridgeport Officers Kill Suspect Who Fled Traffic Stop, Cops Say Police in Fairfield County fatally shot a suspect allegedly involved in weapons and narcotics who fled from officers and took them on a police chase.  The shooting incident began in Bridgeport around 5:10 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, and ended in New Haven County in Ansonia with the death of the unnamed suspect.  According to Capt. CT State Trooper Shoots Knife-Wielding, Evicted Tenant: Police An active, "complex" investigation is underway for an officer-involved shooting, officials say.  A Connecticut state trooper assigned to assist in a court-ordered eviction of a tenant, who lived in the small Windham County town of Brooklyn, shot and injured the tenant on Tuesday, May 9 at approximately 9:35 a.m., according to the Connecticut State Police.  Troopers arrived at the residence on Tiffany Street and reported that the tenant refused to comply with the eviction and was wielding a knife.  One of the troopers shot and injured the tenant during the incident.  Th…
