WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Y Masters men's swim team came in sixth place in the 2013 Masters Short Course YMCA Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The women's team came in seventh and the combined team came in eighth.
Pete Holmquist was a member of the 45-and-over mixed 200 free relay, which broke a national record with a time of 1:36.14. He was also a member of the 45-and-over men's 200 and 400 free relays, both of which both took first place. He won a gold medal in the men's 50 back, placed second in the 100 free and 100 back, and took third in the 50 free and 100 individual medley.
Jim Lewis was a member of the 35-and-up mixed 200 free relay, which took first place. He also placed third in the 200 individual medley and the 100 fly, fourth in the 100 back, and seventh in the 50 free and 50 fly.
