WILTON, Conn. The Wilton Boys Under-9 Blue soccer team won the Soccer Club of Ridgefield Labor Day Tournament.
Wilton went 4-0 in the tournament, outscoring opponents 20-0. The team defeated the Ridgefield Colts, 6-0; Southbury Sharks, 6-0; Newtown Blue, 2-0; and the Southbury Warriors, 6-0.
Wilton won with a team effort, as all of its members contributed goals or assists.
The team is coached by Dan Pelletier. Team members include Jack Strickland, Dylan Koziol, Max Andrews, Parker Woodring, Dylan Bender, Conor Lillis, Tyler Moody, Tyler Casey, Andrew Zizzadoro, Zarius Eusebe, Dillon Mannix and Owen English.
