WILTON, Conn. Wilton High School athletics will be in full swing during the holiday break. The boys and girls basketball teams, the boys ice hockey team, the boys and girls indoor track teams and the wrestling team will all be in action before the New Year. Here is a look at the week's holiday sports schedule.
Monday, Dec. 26 - The boys ice hockey team starts a busy week by hosting Milford co-op at 7:20 p.m. at the Winter Garden Rink in Ridgefield.
Tuesday, Dec. 27 - The boys basketball team plays the first of two out-of-conference games in a holiday jamboree at Trumbull High School. The Warriors take on Platt High School of Meriden at 5 p.m.
The girls basketball team travels to Weston High School for its annual showdown against the Trojans at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 28 - The boys ice hockey team hits the ice again, hosting Daniel Hand for a 7:20 p.m. game at the Winter Garden Rink in Ridgefield.
Thursday, Dec. 29 - The wrestling team hosts a four-team match, including Brien McMahon, Ridgefield and Stamford at 10 a.m.
The girls and boys indoor track teams host a huge six-team meet, starting at 4 p.m. in the Wilton Field House. Opponents include Brien McMahon, Darien, Danbury, Greenwich and New Canaan.
The boys basketball team takes on Bethel at Trumbull High School at 5 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 30 - The boys ice hockey team plays its third game in five days when the Warriors travel to DiLungo Rink to take on East Haven for a 2 p.m. game.
