WILTON, Conn. - After a year of explosive offense, it is fitting that the Wilton High School football team was honored for that facet of the game. The Fairfield County Interscholastic Athetlic Conference named five Warriors to the all-conference first team, including four on offense.
Wilton went 6-4 on the season, its first winning record since 2007. Wilton averaged nearly 34 points a game, easily the best since the '07 season.
Running back Connor Devane, wide receivers Alex Ward and Hunter Geraghty and tight end Mike LaSala were named to the all-conference East Division first team. Sean Carroll, the Warriors' quarterback, was honored as an all-conference defensive selection for his work as a defensive back.
Running back Travis Stella and tight end Connor Buhler were named to the offensive second-team. Rob Keers was placed on the second-team defense.
The complete list of all-conference selections is available on the league website.
