WILTON, Conn. The Wilton fifth-grade White boys lacrosse team won three games by a combined tally of 34-7 in a promising start to the season.
Wilton defeated Westport White, Westport Blue and RELAX 2. Wilton dominated the faceoffs all day led by Ethan Grandolfo (seven goals, three assists), Connor Drake (7G, 2A) and Colin Kroll (2G, 2A).
Jackson Coyle (4G) and Peter Denious (3G) both were at the end of slick passes by Zach Rossi (1G, 3A). Ryan Schriber (6G, 2A) anchored the strong Wilton defense in front of goalies Brandon Jonsson (four saves) and Dylan Flanagan (two saves).
Additional offensive firepower was supplied by Andrew Luciano (1G, 1A), Jake Stein (1G), Dylan Kennedy (1G) and Thomas Sullivan (1G).
