WILTON, Conn. The Wilton YMCA Wahoos swim team hosted its last home meet before the start of the championship season. More than 850 swimmers from the Northeast attended the meet and the Wahoos performed well. Many swimmers achieved personal best times..
The following Wilton swimmers earned ribbons with a top 12 finish:
The 10/under age group included Morgan Dill, Lily Kealy, Emma Babashak, Taylor Loud, Eleanor Imrie, Richard Nolan and Nate Snyder.
The 12/under age group standouts included Emma Kaufeld, Robby Giller, Will Suchy, Kyle Wilson, Matthew Martin, Jack Lewis and Jason Xie.
Top performers in the 13/14 age group included Emma Holmquist, Brooke Hendee, Andrea Prospect, Courtney Gilroy, Julia Lewis, Katrina Trentos, Lindsey Cooney, and Maggie Kaufeld, Charlie Owens and Daniel Xie.
Wahoos who stood out in the 15/over age group included Sarah Hynes, Hannah Armstrong, Morgan Scarth, Sean Higgins, Callum Breene, Robert McDowell, Jack Abbott, Daniel Hernandez, Chris Wilson, Adam Damon, Christopher Hume and Max Bloom.
