Latest Wilton Varsity Sports Schedule

WILTON, Conn. ? The fallout from the weekend's storm and ensuing power outages continues to wreak havoc on the high school sports playoff schedule. Below is a sport-by-sport update for Wilton High School teams.

Field Hockey ? The tournament quarterfinals were moved for a third time, this time to Wednesday. Second-seeded Wilton will take on seventh-ranked Fairfield Ludlowe at Ludlowe High School at 7 p.m. The semifinals will be played at New Canaan High School at 5 and 7 p.m. on Thursday. The final is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk.

Girls Soccer ? The sixth-seeded girls soccer team is now scheduled to play its FCIAC tournament quarterfinal game at Westhill High School in Stamford on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. The semifinals will be played on Thursday, Nov. 3, at Norwalk High School at 5 and 7 p.m., with the final now scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5, at Ludlowe High School at 2 p.m.

Girls Swimming ? FCIAC trials at the Greenwich High School pool have been moved to Thursday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m. Girls swimming finals will be held Saturday at Greenwich High at 4 p.m. Diving finals will take place at Westhill High School on Saturday at a time to be announced.

Boys Soccer ? The boys soccer team lost a heartbreaker to second-ranked Trumbull on Friday, 2-1, on a penalty kick in overtime. The Warriors lost the penalty kick round 8-6. The tournament semifinals will be on Tuesday, Nov. 1, as scheduled, at Fairfield Ludlowe High School at 5 p.m. The finals will now be played at Fairfield Ludlowe on Thursday at 7 p.m.
