WILTON, Conn. – The Trackside Teen Center of Wilton will hold a free seminar on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m. on ways to support students in the coming year.
The seminar will focus on strategic study skills that can be used throughout the student's lifetime. Examples of skills being discussed include key study principles, goal setting, time management, note-taking, active reading, active listening, question generation, using graphic organizers, summarization and test preparation strategies.
“We are excited to make this free presentation available to area parents,” Trackside Teen Center Executive Director Mark Ketley said in a statement. “It is clear that when parents support their students, everyone benefits.”
