Wilton Voters Head To The Polls For Municipal Election

WILTON, Conn. — Wilton voters can cast their ballots in Tuesday's municipal election from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At the top of this year's ballot is the selectmen's race. The candidates include incumbents Jim Saxe, a Republican, and Richard Dubow, a Democrat. As residents are asked to vote for two candidates in this race, both Saxe and Debow likely will re-elected.

Other races include Board of Education, Board of Finance, Planning and Zoning and Board of Assessment Appeals. None of the races are contested. To see the full ballot, click here.

Here is a list of polling places by district:

District 1: Wilton High School, Clune Center 395 Danbury Road

District 2: Cider Mill School Gym 240 School Road

District 3: Middlebrook School Gym 131 School Road

If you don't know which district you live in, you can find out by entering your address on the town's website.

Connecticut will allow same-day Election Day voter registration for residents who are not signed up to vote or who want to change the town in which they vote. Election Day registration in Wilton will be at Town Hall. Proof of residency and identity will be required.
