Wilton Sen. Toni Boucher Appears On 'Focus On Connecticut'

WILTON, Conn. -- State Sen. Toni Boucher of Wilton recently made an appearance on News 12 Connecticut's "Focus on Connecticut" political program along with state Reps. John Shaban of Redding and Fred Camillo of Greenwich.

Also appearing on the show with host Tom Appleby was state Rep. Themis Klarides (R-Derby).

The state legislators appeared on the show to talk about policy changes and proposals to be discussed in the state Legislature in Hartford when the new session begins Feb. 5.

The focus will be on making adjustments to the state budget, Boucher said, adding that mental health, transportation and education policies are also expected to be topics of debate.

Boucher, a Republican, represents the 26th District towns of New Canaan, Westport, Wilton, Ridgefield, Redding, Bethel and Weston. She is the ranking member on the Education, Higher Education and Transportation committees in the General Assembly.

Shaban, a Republican, represents the 135th District towns of Redding, Easton and Weston. 

Camillo, a Republican, represents the 151st District town of Greenwich.
