Discuss Local Politics With State Legislators Over Pizza In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The public is invited to meet with state legislators and discuss their priorities for 2018 over pizza at "Pie & Politics" hosted by the League of Women Voters of Westport.

The information session will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westport VFW Post, located at 465 Riverside Ave. The meeting will be moderated by Pat Porio, vice president for Program/Advocacy of the league. A variety of pizzas will be available, as well as a cash bar. 

Participating in the event will be Sen. Toni Boucher (R-26th District), Sen. Tony Hwang (R-28th District), Rep. Gail Lavielle (R-143rd District), and Rep. Jonathan Steinberg (D-136th District). The legislators will first responded to questions developed by the league and from the audience, and then will discuss their priorities for this year.

There is no charge for the event. Parking will be available in the lot at the rear of the building.
