WILTON, Conn. – A man who teaches seventh grade in Wilton was arrested Tuesday on sexual assault charges after Trumbull police found him in a car with a 14-year-old boy in a movie theater parking lot, according to WTNH-TV.
Police spotted Timothy Leonard, 37, of Southbury, at 7:30 p.m. in a Jeep Cherokee in a secluded area of the lot on Quarry Road, WTNH said.
The 14-year-old Trumbull boy and Leonard had engaged in intimate contact in the car, police told WTNH.
Leonard is also a teacher at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.
He was charged with risk of injury to a minor and sexual assault and posted $10,000 bond.
