WILTON, Conn. -- Fishermen like going back to the same lucky spots, but Wilton Police said a pair of Stamford men chose the wrong spot when they returned to fish again at the reservoir on Old Huckleberry Road on Saturday.
In fact, the two men - who were found with several fish in their possession Saturday morning - had been warned before not to fish in the reservoir, police said.
Officers were called to the reservoir after a resident saw the two men fishing there at about 10 a.m.
Frederick Joyner, 47, of 15 Greenwich Ave., Stamford, and Howard Williams, 56, of 53a Stillwater Ave., Stamford, were each given infractions with a charge of unauthorized fishing in reservoir. Both men then left the area.
