WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton Police Chief Michael Lombardo was recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence during its “First 100 Plus” breakfast and awards ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell.
Lombardo was part of the 2013 First 100 Plus class of men who for their leadership and commitment to improve the lives of domestic violence victims in the third annual ceremony last week.
He received a Certificate of Special Recognition from U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., for his “Outstanding Work on Behalf of Domestic Violence Victims.”
Also in attendance at the breakfast were Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and state Attorney General George Jepson as well as many of the other honorees, many of them from law enforcement.
