WILTON, Conn. — A teenager was charged by Wilton Police for underage DWI on Saturday, police said.
The 16-year-old from Mount Kisco was driving on Route 7 South in Wilton when officers observed a car driving with a flat left front tire. The vehicle was also heavily damaged, according to police.
When police stopped the car, they determined the operator to be intoxicated and was not of legal age.
He also was not aware the tire was flat or the car was damaged, police said.
He was released on $300 cash bond pending a Norwalk Superior Court date on March 16.
