WILTON, Conn. -- Commuters and residents will want to plan ahead for detours when Seeley Road in Wilton closes completely on Friday, April 8 through Thursday, April 14, at 4 p.m. for construction.
According to the Wilton Police, the road closure is due to work being performed by the Metro-North Commuter Railroad, which consists of upgrading the Seeley Road railroad/highway crossing on the Danbury Branch.
Drivers will be directed to detours through fixed message signs.
In addition, on Saturday, April 9, and Sunday April 10, there will be no train service between Danbury and South Norwalk, police said.
Metro-North will be provide bus service during these times. Train service is expected to resume on schedule Monday, April 11.
