WILTON, Conn. No evidence of crime was found in a series of racist messages posted on Twitter, Wilton Police said this week.
The tweets some racist, some anti-Semitic were posted over the last two weeks by a user with the Twitter name YouLiveInWilton. The account was deleted last Tuesday, though it is not clear whether it was removed by the social media site or by the user.
Wilton Police Capt. John Lynch said there was concern about the tweets because the comments were very biased. There was no crime that we could determine, he said, but it always concerns us as a community.
