WILTON, Conn. — it's a new era at the Wilton Police Department: Chief John P. Lynch took the official Oath of Office Monday as the Chief of Police.
Lynch, who has been a Wilton police officer since 1985, took the reins from former Chief Robert Crosby, who has retired.
Lynch moved up the ranks to lieutenant then captain and has been the executive officer for the department during Crosby's tenure.
