A Fairfield County man was arrested for alleged DUI after crashing his Porsche.
Frank Barry Ackerman, 62, of Wilton, was arrested around 6:19 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 14, after Wilton police responded to a report of a crash on Skunk Lane, said Wilton Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 1998 Porsche Carrera had been involved in a crash, police said.
While talking with Ackerman, officers detected an odor of alcohol coming from his breath and conducted a series of field sobriety tests which he allegedly failed, police said.
Ackerman was charged with DUI and failure to drive right.
During arrest processing, chemical testing revealed that Ackerman's BAC levels were .1066 and .1031.
Ackerman was released from custody on a promise to appear ticket and is scheduled to appear in court in January 2021.
