Greenwich Man Charged With Assault, Strangulation After Incident Near Byram Restaurant

A Greenwich man has been arrested and charged with assault following an incident outside a restaurant in Byram, police say.

Greenwich Police responded to the area of The Famous Greek Kitchen (10 N. Water Street) on the report of an assault Friday, March 22 at around 9:30 p.m.

Further investigation revealed that 51-year-old Seth David Bladimirsquy allegedly pushed the victim against the building and grabbed him by his jacket, restricting his neck and impeding breathing.

Bladimirsquy’s actions left red marks on the victim’s neck and a scratch on his arm, police say.

Bladimirsquy was arrested and charged with:

  • Disorderly conduct
  • Third-degree assault
  • Second-degree strangulation/suffocation

Bladimirsquy was unable to post his $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on Friday, April 5.
