WILTON, Conn. – Charles Garcia will return to court in April to face charges in connection with a shooting incident at his Wilton home in November in which he and his wife were injured.
Garcia’s case was continued to April 2 when he appeared Tuesday in Stamford Superior Court. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree larceny and first-degree unlawful restraint. Garcia was arrested Dec. 31 by Wilton Police after spending several weeks at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries.
Wilton Police said Garcia and his wife Michelle, 39, were involved with a struggle over a hunting rifle on the morning of Nov. 26 while in the upstairs bedroom of their home. Both of them suffered injuries.
