Middletown Police report that David Reich was found and is safe.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 62-year-old Connecticut man who suffers from memory loss, authorities report.

Middlesex County resident David Reich, age 62, of Middletown, was last seen in the area of Dobson Circle in Middletown around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, according to Middletown Police on Facebook.

Reich, described as standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 130 pounds, was last seen wearing an olive green jacket, a white/gray hat, jeans, gray sneakers, and work gloves, according to police. 

Reich is known to frequent East Main Street, the area near Stop & Shop, River Road, and Millers Pond, police said. Residents are being asked to check their home surveillance cameras for any potential footage of Reich from Wednesday afternoon.
