Danbury Woman Charged In Burglary In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – A 20-year-old Danbury woman who was arrested by Wilton police in March is facing a second charge in connection to a January home burglary, police said.

Tori Lynn Alvarez is accused of stealing about $3,300 worth of jewelry from a home on Olmstead Hill Road on Jan. 17, according to the police report.

This is the second time Alvarez was arrested in connection with this burglary. In March, she was charged with third-degree burglary and at that time, police said they expected more charges to be filed against her.

Alvarez was arrested on a warrant last Tuesday at a hotel in Danbury and charged with third-degree burglary, a felony. She was released after posting $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court this Friday.
