WILTON, Conn. — For the second time in a month, a swastika was found drawn on a wall in a boys' bathroom at Middlebrook School in Wilton, according to the Hour.
The swastika was discovered Friday afternoon and removed, the Hour reported. Principal Lauren Feltz notified families in the Middlebrook community of the incident in a letter Friday, and said that a full investigation is underway, according to the Hour.
A swastika had previously been discovered in a bathroom at the school Thursday, Oct. 5. School officials said in that case that a parent of the student responsible came forward.
In light of the most recent Feltz told parents that students at Middlebrook will receive lessons in the kind of harm that can be caused by such symbols, according to the Hour.
She also said the school will not normalize or dismiss the behavior, and that the student or students involved in this case will receive significant punishments, the Hour reported.
