WILTON, Conn. Wilton Police Officers responding to an alarm at home on Old Boston Road early Wednesday morning discovered a stash of marijuana.
A resident of the home, Kathleen Pramer, 55, was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Because the marijuana was less than a half ounce, Pramer was given an infraction ticket.
When police arrived, they found an unsecured door to the garage, which allowed them to get into the home. In the process of securing the home, officers opened a closet on the second floor where they found what Police Capt. John Lynch called a bong.
According the report, officers also detected a strong smell of what they believed to be marijuana.
Police obtained a search warrant, and with the assistance of the New Canaan Police Departments K-9 and officer they discovered several other items of paraphernalia and less than half an ounce of marijuana.
The report says Pramer was the only person in the home during the search and claimed ownership of the items.
