WILTON, Conn. - Rev. Samuel Allinder of Wilton died Monday, Sept. 30. He was 90.
Rev. Allinder was born Feb. 4, 1923, in Oakdale, Pa., son of Samuel Warren and Hilma Josephine (Regis) Allinder. He was a retired minister in the Episcopal Church and attended the Episcopal Seminary in Kentucky. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Rev. Allinder is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Musico) Allinder; daughters, Jan (Robert) Anestis of Florida., and Patty (Sam) Brick of West Virginia.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Wilmer Allinder; and sister, Irma R. Butler. He was predeceased by his parents; grandson, Brian Brick; one sister; and three brothers.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800) where a funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
