WILTON, Conn. – Patrick V. Conneely, a former Wilton resident, died Nov. 29 at Waterbury Hospital. He was 87.
Conneely was born Jan. 8. 1925, in England to James and Delia Collins Conneely. He immigrated to the U.S. with his parents as a child and was raised in Queens, NY. He graduated from Bishop Loughlin High School and St. John's University.
He served in the Army during World War II in Europe. He was employed as a national sales manager for a mining and natural resources company until his retirement.
He was married to the late Doris Rogers Conneely, a former principal of Our Lady of Fatima Parochial School in Wilton. He lived most recently in Southbury, Conn.
Conneely is survived by four children, Maureen, Eileen, Kevin and Brian; and three grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury. Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home handled arrangements.
