WILTON, Conn. - Marian (Mumsie) Bogdany Kilbride of Wilton died Friday, Nov. 15. She was 78.
Kilbride was born Oct. 26, 1935, in Norwalk, daughter of Stephen and Marian Kertesz Bogdany of Norwalk. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy of Stamford and Katherine Gibbs of New York City. She worked as a secretary at Perkin Elmer, Remington Rand and the Vita Corp of Wilton. After retiring, she volunteered time as secretary at St. Francis of Assisi of Weston and was active in the Ladies Guild for many years.
Kilbride is survived by her sister, Zita Szabo of Fairfield; nephew, Zoltan J. (Kimberly) Szabo of Trumbull and niece, Zita (Marty) Ruf of Trinity, Fla.; two great nieces and a great nephew; many cousins; and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Richard Vincent Kilbride.
Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Sacred Heart Church, 30 Church St. Georgetown, with burial at St. Johns Cemetery in Norwalk.
