Loren Findorak, 74, Of Wilton, Owned Loren Findorak Drilling, Inc.

WILTON Conn. - Loren E. Findorak of Wilton died Tuesday, Oct. 22. He was 74.

Findorak was born May 6, 1939, in Norwalk, son of John M. and Irene (Carr) Findorak. Raised in Wilton, he attended Wilton schools. He was a lifelong resident and owned and operated his generational drilling business in Wilton. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he served from 1956 to 1962 and was stationed in Beirut in 1958 during the Lebanon Crisis. He was a member of the Redding Country Club, and a past volunteer fireman of the Wilton Volunteer Fire Dept.

Findorak is survived by his wife, Victoria (Wolffe) Findorak; daughters, Heidi Findorak Dominakus (Thomas) of Danbury, Wendi Findorak of London, England and Jessica Findorak Kelly (Christopher) of Redding; brother, John Findorak, Jr. of Wilton; and five grandchildren.

Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Redding Ridge. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk with military honors.
